Float Washer (#400037)

Part #400037 is a 2.75" clamp washer fitted during float assembly installation on residential water distillers. Positioned at the clamp joint inside the tank, it takes up the gap between mating surfaces so the assembly seats evenly and holds a watertight seal.

If you notice seepage around the float mounting point after a service, a worn or flattened washer here is a common culprit and is cheap to swap out.
