About this product
Boiling tank drain valve (#400000), 1/2" FPT x 3/8", fitted to the PWS Stream and the legacy PWS 8M and PWS 5-3 distillers. Opening this valve flushes concentrated impurities out of the boiling tank, which keeps mineral scale off the element and tank walls and cuts down how often you need to clean the unit by hand.
If the valve drips when closed, the sealing washer (P/N 080065) is available separately and is usually all that needs renewing.
