Standard microswitch (#060059) with a formed long metal arm, used at the upper boiling tank position and fitted across all PWS water distillers. Three metal terminals and a light actuation force give precise, repeatable switching, which the distiller relies on for position detection and safe operation.
Microswitches are inexpensive wear items — if the distiller has stopped responding correctly at the top of the fill or behaves erratically, this is a cheap first replacement before deeper troubleshooting.
